This week in the Quiet ADHD Club - 24 February
Q&A, Accountability thread + Tuesday's Body-doubling session
Hi lovely,
This week is a busy one for me as I’m off to Cheshire to be interviewed about my book, The 1% Wellness Experiment, at Simply Books bookshop on Tuesday evening. The event sold out last week which makes me excited, and a bit nervous!
So this week we have our:
Monday Accountability thread – more on that below.
Tuesday Body-doubling session 10-11am – Zoom link below.
And our Thursday Body-doubling session 2-3m – Zoom link also below.
You’ll also find the Body-doubling Zoom links on this permanent page:
I find calendar reminders and alerts super helpful so feel free to add ‘check accountability thread’ as a repeat on Mondays, and ‘body-doubling session’ with the Zoom links as a repeat on Tuesdays and Thursdays (there’s one repeating link for Tuesdays and a different, repeating link for Thursdays).
Got a question?
As part of the membership paid subscribers can submit questions for our monthly Q&A. You can add them to the thread here or email me if you’d prefer. And if you’d like your question to be kept anonymous that’s no problem too.
I’ll record my answers and share them at the end of the month (Friday).
Exploration of Overcoming Procrastination
During February we’re looking at that sticky issue of procrastination – why it’s SO hard to get ourselves to do things even when we want to do them and what practical action we take to find motivation and get going. Read or listen to the posts here.
In March we’ll have a whole new topic to explore!
How I discovered my ADHD
In this post I share how I discovered my ADHD – the struggle, the confusion, the learning, the realisation and the diagnosis.

Accountability thread 24-28 February
What do you want or need to do this week? What would feel great to have ticked off by the end of the month? It could be anything like:
emailing your accountant
spending 30mins exercising
making a doctor’s appointment
reading a chapter of your book
or anything at all
Whatever you’re struggling to do – this isn’t just for work or boring chores, this goes for making space for what gives you joy and takes care of your mental, physical or emotional health too – accountability can help you to actually do it. And then you’ll feel so good for having done it.
