Later this week, on Thursday 12 March, our Inconsistently Consistent Project begins! I’m really looking forward to sending full members the daily bitesize messages which you can listen to as well as read.
If you’ve been called erratic, flaky and faddish, if you get frustrated with your sporadic habits, if you want to just get on and do the thing, this is for you.
The Inconsistently Consistent Project – 14ish days to get stuff done (and build self-trust) your way is about recognising our challenges with procrastination, inconsistency and finishing, and working with our brains to move forward on the tasks we want to accomplish or the habits we want to form, with self-compassion and the support of the Quiet ADHD Club. What’s crucial here is that it’s not about perfect consistency, it is not all or nothing.
We will explore:
overcoming procrastination
boosting motivation
taking action on what you want or need to do
and building your self-trust

Heads up: If you like the idea of the 100-day project but your heart sinks at the thought of not making it anywhere close to 100 days, and it’ll be yet more proof that you don’t finish things, the Inconsistently Consistent Project is absolutely for you.

📋 Accountability thread 9 March
Each Monday we have our accountability thread, click here to go to the paid members’ Chat to find this week’s. Share what you’d like us to help you do this week. It could be take a walk, go to bed earlier, work on your novel, book a dentist appointment or anything at all!
Any time between now and next Monday 16 March come back to the thread and tell us how you got on.
IMPORTANT: If you don’t manage to do the task that’s okay. It’s absolutely not something to feel bad about or to get cross with yourself. Every hour, every day, every week is another opportunity to try again, let us know in the accountability thread what would help you.
Thursday’s body-doubling
There’s no body-doubling tomorrow, Tuesday, but we will be back to our usual sessions from this Thursday 12th onwards. You could use it to get started on your Inconsistently Consistent Project if you fancy!
You can find out more about the body-doubling sessions and get the links here (Thursday is 2-3pm GMT, 9-10am EST, 6-7am PST). I’ll include the link in Thursday’s email too.
