News + Community Call tonight
If you’re new here hi, I’m Gabrielle and I help quiet, introverted, sensitive women who have, or think they have, ADHD to work with their brains and build inner calm and confidence to be their true selves.
The Quiet ADHD Club is an online space where you can find understanding, guidance, support and connection.
You can read more about the Club and see if it could be of support to you by clicking the button below.
Heads-up: Community Call 7.30pm tonight (Thursday) link below.
Hi quiet you,
Little bit of news for you – if you’ve listened to my Pressing Pause podcast (maybe you’re an OG listener from 2018!) you’ll now see the graphic has changed as I’ve renamed it the Quiet ADHD Podcast! It felt long overdue so I got my act together and changed it in all the places it needed changing. (Episodes pre-170 still mention Pressing Pause in the introduction.) You can listen here.
Writing and talking about quiet ADHD – the introverted, sensitive women who have lived for decades with unrecognised ADHD while striving to keep it all together for all those years, and who don’t see themselves reflected in the stereotypical presentation of an outwardly chaotic, flamboyant extrovert – is more important to me than ever.
Because you don’t have to struggle on alone any more. You don’t have to feel like you’re the only odd one out any more. You don’t have to feel broken and wrong because you’re not and you don’t need fixing.
Learning to understand your brain so you can work with it, getting guidance and practical support as well as access to a community of women who really get it – that’s vital to every one who has discovered they have, or think they have, ADHD later in life.
That’s why I’ve renamed the podcast and why the Quiet ADHD Club is at the heart of my mission to support as many introverted, sensitive, late-discovered women as I can.
So if you’re at the point where the Quiet ADHD Podcast is the level of support you want to access it’s free for anyone to listen to.
And if you’re looking for an online home dedicated to supporting introverted, sensitive, late-discovered ADHD women with a tonne of information and resources to understand and work with your brain, as well as body-doubling sessions and community connection – all without any expectation or pressure – the Quiet ADHD Club is for you.
🤩 Community Call today!
Our monthly Community Call today (Thursday) is an opportunity for us to have a relaxed chat about our day to day experiences as quiet ADHDers. And as we’re in the thick of our Cultivating Joy Project that will be our jumping off point for today’s chat.
The call will not be recorded so that you can be fully present and feel comfortable in the space. We start at 7.30pm BST (2.30pm EST, 11.30am PST) and we’ll be on Zoom for an hour at the most. Paid subscribers will find the link at the end of this post.
Hopefully you can join us but if not, no worries, we’ll have another Call next month.
😊😀 Body-doubling links
We have our second body-doubling session of the week today (Thursday) at 2-3pm BST (9am EST, 6am PST). Paid members are welcome to join these sessions as often as you like, if at all! The choice is yours, there’s zero pressure. If you’re new to body-doubling have a read of this.
You could use the time to do whatever you want to focus on, that could be folding laundry, sorting a drawer, reading your book, researching a work project, replying to emails… anything you want or need to do.
How to join
