Reminder – today’s (Tuesday) Body-doubling is 10-11am on Zoom, link at the bottom of this email, along with the Accountability thread.

Welcome to April in the Quiet ADHD Club

And what a juicy month I have planned for you!

For our Exploration topic this month we’re looking at the relationship between hormones and ADHD with a guest expert in women’s health and an ADHDer herself, Adele Wimsett.

Our recorded conversation was revelatory to say the least. Whether you’re having periods, you’re in perimenopause or you’re post-menopausal there is SO much valuable information in the video (audio and transcript available, plus downloadable resources).

I came away from it feeling inspired and empowered and I know you will too. I can’t wait to hear what you take from the conversation.

Club Explorations

For paid members this month:

  • Exploration – the relationship between our hormones and our ADHD features

  • Accountability thread – every Monday

  • Body-doubling sessions – every Tuesday 10-11am and Thursday 2-3pm UK times

  • Q&A – submit your questions for the monthly Q&A

  • Personal post – let me know if there’s something specific you’d like me to write about (these have been but won’t always be available to free subscribers)

Plus

  • You’ll find the other topics we’ve explored on overcoming procrastination and calming your overthinking brain in the same Exploration section (plus your bonus free course, Exhale).

  • The previous Q&A recordings are available for you to listen to here (transcripts available) where I shared my thoughts on a range of issues including making a consistent habit, sensitivity to criticism, organisation systems and hyper focus.

  • Personal posts where I share how I discovered my ADHD and what this discovery has given me

Remember, you’re welcome to join in as little or as much as you like. There’s no keeping up and you can’t fall behind.

By hosting the Quiet ADHD Club here on Substack free subscribers can get a look at the different aspects of the Club whereas if it was hosted on another platform none of it would be visible.

✅ Accountability thread 31 March-4 April

What do you want or need to make progress on this week?

Whatever you’re struggling to do – this isn’t just for work or boring chores, this goes for making space for what gives you joy and takes care of your mental, physical or emotional health too – accountability can help you to make headway on it. And then you’ll feel so good for the action you’ve taken.

So, click on the image below to find this week’s accountability thread and share your intention for this week. By sharing it with our lovely Quiet ADHD Club community you can get encouragement as well as accountability, and celebration for having a go.
