Pre-S: Ask me a question

A reminder to send me a question for our monthly Q&A if you’d like me to share my thoughts on it. You can add the question in the comments or hit reply to email me instead. Just let me know if you’d like to be kept anonymous. I’ll be recording my As to your Qs soon so send in your question by end of Tuesday 22 April.

Hi quiet you,

Last week I shared that it was the one year anniversary of my ADHD diagnosis and I want to celebrate with a double giveaway!

Here’s what you could win:

Gift 1 for ALL free subscribers and paid members: A books and stationery goodie bag including a copy of my book, The 1% Wellness Experiment (signed if you like), AND a month’s full membership to the Quiet ADHD Club with access to EVERYTHING. (If you’re already a paid member you’ll get a free month.)

Gift 2 for paid members only: a 45mins one-to-one coaching call with me where we can talk about whatever you’d like support on.

For your chance to win either gift make sure you’re subscribed to the Quiet ADHD Club and click the button below to enter the giveaway.

I want to win!

Remember that to be eligible to win the coaching call with me you need to be a monthly or annual paid member of the Quiet ADHD Club.

Wherever you are in the world you’re welcome to enter this giveaway by 8pm UK time Wednesday 30 April and the two winners will be chosen at random and emailed on 1 May. Good luck and feel free to spread the word!

No proof necessary

It’s also important to say that you don’t have to have a diagnosis to prove you have ADHD or to get support.

Yes you need a diagnosis to explore medication but many experts agree that medication only goes so far and combining with coaching or other support is most effective.

  • If you believe that you have ADHD that’s enough proof.

  • If you believe that you have ADHD you can ask for accommodation at work, you can get coaching, you can join communities – you can access the support you need without having to wave a piece of official paper.

There is support available wherever you are and whatever you’re looking for and you can tap into it right now.

Obviously there’s the support I offer but wherever and with whomever you want to get help don’t delay, you don’t need to struggle on alone for another day.

Accountability thread 21-25 April

What do you want or need to do this week? It could be anything like:

  • moving your body

  • drinking more water

  • cleaning the kitchen

  • making a phone call

  • working on a report

  • or anything at all

Whatever you’re struggling to do – this isn’t just for work or boring chores, this goes for making space for what gives you joy and takes care of your mental, physical or emotional health too – accountability can help you to actually do it. And then you’ll feel so good for having done it.

So, click on the image below to find this week’s accountability thread and share what you want or need to tick off your list this week. By sharing it with our lovely Quiet ADHD Club community you can get encouragement as well as accountability, and celebration when you complete it.
