This week in the Quiet ADHD Club – 17 March
How I created the Club plus support and accountability
Hi lovely,
I thought long and hard about how to structure the Quiet ADHD Club and what to offer because I wanted to provide support for women wherever they are in the world, however they best take in information and whatever their energy level or schedule.
I wanted to offer a pic n mix selection if you like, so you can choose what to make use of instead of feeling you have to do it all.
If you like to go at your own pace the Exploration and the Q&A posts are available to you any time.
If you like live connection there are the twice weekly Body-doubling sessions.
If you like accountability you can comment in the weekly thread.
If you’re tight on time there’s no deadline, no falling behind or keeping up because everything is available to you whenever you want it.
If you like to read or listen or both you have the option with the Exploration and Q&A posts (and the guest expert conversation coming soon).
If you’d like help on a specific challenge you can ask a question for the monthly Q&A (and you can be anonymous if you prefer).
So, whatever time zone you’re in, whether you like to keep quiet or chat to others, if you’ve a busy schedule, whether reading or listening best suits you – there is support available for you here in the Quiet ADHD Club.
And it’s the most affordable way to get support from me – a late-discovered quiet ADHDer, author and coach who’s been supporting women with the challenges of undiagnosed ADHD for several years – at about the price of a weekly takeaway coffee.
This week’s Accountability thread is below, along with a reminder of Tuesday’s Body-doubling session, and here’s what else is available to full members of the Quiet ADHD Club this month.
🤨 What do you want to know?
You still have time to send me any questions for our guest expert on hormones and their impact on our ADHD features. I’m recording a conversation with her soon so ping over your questions asap and it will be available to all paid members next month.
Are you curious how our hormones impact our ADHD traits like focus, decision-making, brain fog, emotional sensitivity and sleep?
How we tell the difference between what’s hormonal and what’s neurodivergence?
And what we can do about it all?!
Reply to this email with your questions and I can make them anonymous if you’d prefer.
🧠 March exploration: Calm your overthinking brain
In Part 1 we explore why our brains are more likely to overthink and ruminate.
And in Part 2 we look at what we can do to help soothe and calm our whirring minds.
You have the option to read or listen to the Explorations (last month we looked at overcoming procrastination), whatever’s most useful to you.
😍 *BONUS course*
And full subscribers also get my course, Exhale – a beginner’s guide to meditation for overthinkers, for FREE! Details for how to access it are in the Exploration Part 2 post.
🤔 Monthly Q&A
Last month’s Q&A recording is available for you to listen to here and you can send me any questions you have for this month’s! Just reply to this email and let me know.
✅ Accountability thread 17-21 March
What do you want or need to make progress on this week? It could be anything like:
packing for a trip
writing a post
doing a jigsaw
ironing clothes
sorting emails
or anything at all
Whatever you’re struggling to do – this isn’t just for work or boring chores, this goes for making space for what gives you joy and takes care of your mental, physical or emotional health too – accountability can help you to make headway on it. And then you’ll feel so good for the action you’ve taken.
So, click on the image below to find this week’s accountability thread and share your intention for this week. By sharing it with our lovely Quiet ADHD Club community you can get encouragement as well as accountability, and celebration for having a go.
