We had really juicy questions for this month’s Q&A:

  1. Two questions on the same topic I answered together: Do you have any coping techniques when it comes to criticism please? I am really sensitive to even the suggestion of criticism and spend most of my life people pleasing or going above and beyond to try to avoid it.

Do you have any advice on how to cope with Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria (RSD), which is a common experience for many people with ADHD, and the associated negative self talk and low self worth?

  2. Is there an organisation system that works for the ADHD brain? I start off with a new system and it works well for a while but it never lasts.

  3. How do we balance the knowledge that we ‘can’ pull off miracles when in hyperfocus, versus the more likely reality that we can’t live like that every day. Just because we did it once before, doesn’t necessarily mean we can again - but that previous experience/miracle seriously skews our ability to judge the amount of time to allow for something new, particularly something that involves multiple steps.

I share my thoughts on them both in the recording which you can listen to below (transcript available too).
